The HSBHA is a nonprofit organization comprised of property owners in the Horseshoe Bend development located in East Texas just south of Winnsboro. Its mission is to preserve, enhance and maintain a natural lake, land, trees and wildlife setting in which the property owners can feel safe, have social activities and protect their investment.
Membership in the Association is mandatory if you are a property owner in the Horseshoe Bend Development. Members of the Little Cypress Development, which is adjacent to Horseshoe Bend, may also elect to join the Horseshoe Bend Homeowners Association. Current annual dues are $146.15 per unit owned.
The Association is managed by a five-member Board of Directors elected by the membership and supported by several appointed officers and Standing Committees. Members of the 2012 Board are as follows: President - Jerry Walker and Directors - Jim Vertz, Lynn Grantham, Denise Carter and John Massey. The Secretary is Jeannette Pyle and the Treasurer is Ora Young.
Meetings of the Board are open to the membership and are held on Saturday mornings at 10:00 am at Dogwood Lodge. Notices of regularly scheduled and special meetings are published in the Association's newsletter and/or posted on the community bulletin board.

"We went to Dulac, Louisiana Jan. 5th and 6th for a little flyfishing. 100% sight fishing, less than 1 foot of water. More fish than these, just thought I would send a few pics. - Bob
The large one Bob had was a 42lb. black drum!
